Please only purchase this listing after you've been directed to do so by detectmagicdice! If you're interested in a wedding commission, feel free to message me on Instagram or via my contact page. I regret that I can only offer wedding floral commissions to customers based in the USA at this time.

What are the dice options?
  • $30 Lucky One: 1 standard size d20 (1 dice total)
  • $60 Newlywed: 2 standard size d20s, an advantage pair (2 dice total)
  • $150 Cherished Moments: 1 standard size polyhedral set of 7 (7 dice total)
  • $300 Forever and Always: 2 standard size polyhedral sets of 7 (14 dice total)
  • $25 Drying Kit: all you need to prepare florals to ship to the artist.

How does it work?
This listing is for a custom wedding floral dice set. You'll dry and prepare the florals, ship them to me inside the silica sand, and I'll create your wedding dice! We can collaborate on selecting floral interiors, contrasting foil colors, internal sparkle tones, and ink colors, or you can give me full creative control if you trust my artistic vision. If more than 48 hours pass without a reply to my customization inquiry messages, I may make executive decisions on the design to ensure the commission is completed on time. Your understanding is appreciated.

What is the timeline?
Dice will be completed 5-12 weeks after the dried florals arrive. My process includes an additional optional round of drying to ensure the florals are well-preserved. I may do a test cast to trial how the flowers behave in resin. I then carefully position your florals inside blank molds and cast the blank dice without numbers. Afterward, I cast the blanks a second time in slightly larger molds that include the numbers, ensuring the florals are fully encased in resin. Finally, I sand and polish each face to a beautiful glass finish and ship the dice back to you! Any leftover floral components can also be returned at this time.

What florals look best in dice?
While larger florals can be broken down into petals for the dice, the best flowers are ones about the size of your thumbnail! Colored flowers tend to work better than white ones, as white petals can appear translucent in resin. I prefer to work with 3d florals dried in silica sand as opposed to pressed/flatted dried florals. Please also send any 'greenery' used in the bouquets, as these can make for beautiful contrast with the florals.

Need advice on the drying process?
My DMs are open to help guide buyers through this step. Here is a reel I made showing how I dry florals. In brief, pack your takeout container as full as you can of florals face up, then pour another layer of silica sand and add more florals face up! If there is any space between your silica sand and the lid, please fill it with bubble wrap or packing paper to prevent your florals from shifting during shipping.

Want some help with acquiring items for the drying process?
You can purchase a drying pack in addition to your dice. I'll mail you a drying kit ahead of your wedding, which will include two takeout containers filled with charged silica sand and a pre-printed return shipping label. For domestic U.S. customers, please allow 1-2 weeks for your drying pack to be delivered.

Want to homebrew your own drying pack? Consider purchasing items from my amazon storefront list. I may earn a commission if you purchase through this link. Please note, you are responsible for the shipping fees to send the dried flowers to me.
